The Departments of Statistics invites applications for:
faculty position at the rank of tenured Associate Professor or tenure-track Assistant Professor.
Special consideration will be given to the areas of high dimensional and/or massive data analysis, machine learning, spatial, computational, and Bayesian statistics.
Applicants should have an active research program and a commitment to teaching excellence. Applicants for appointment with tenure should also have a demonstrated commitment to department service.
A Ph.D. in statistics or a related field is required.
Created in 2006, IU's Department of Statistics currently offers both graduate and undergraduate degree programs and maintains the Indiana Statistical Consulting Center.
