Sara Jane Stoner (BA in English cum laude, Smith College, MFA in Fiction, Indiana University, PhD in English and Critical Theory, City University of New York, Graduate Center (in progress)) is a writer and performer, as well as a teacher at Brooklyn College. Her background includes work in theater, music performance, editing, and publishing. Her scholarly work focuses on 20th century transgeneric and intermedia texts. Currently she is working on a book of ekphrastic fictions based on the writings and paintings of Piet Mondrian, and an autocritical novella on the pleasures of objecthood, detail, and myopia.
