Kate Russell is a native of Clifton, Maine, and has a BFA from University of Maine at Farmington and an MFA in Fiction from Indiana University. Her fiction and creative nonfiction have appeared in Hayden’s Ferry Review, Crab Orchard Review, Beloit Fiction Journal, Barrelhouse, Redivider, and other journals. Kate is currently a doctoral student at University of Kansas and she lives in Lawrence, KS with her catahoula leopard dog, Tallulah.
