(Third Year, Poetry)
Daniel Minty was born and raised in the burbs of Boston. He received his BA in English from Vassar College, where he was honored to receive the Academy of American Poets Prize in both 2011 and 2012, and where he acted as editor-in-chief to Vassar College’s literary and art magazine, Helicon. He has paid his bills over the years by means of greenhouses, political campaigns, and bookstores. His academic interests include the horror genre and the battle between sincerity and irony in contemporary literature. Really.
