(2015 Graduate, Poetry)

Leslie Marie Aguilar was born and raised in Abilene, Texas. She received her BA from Texas Tech University where she graduated summa cum laude with honors. She is the Poetry Editor of Indiana Review and is the recipient of the Louis McNutt Fellowship, the Indiana University Graduate Fellowship, and a National Society of Arts and Letters Literature Award. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Bellingham Review, Iron Horse Literary Journal, Ninth Letter, Rattle, Southern Indiana Review, and Washington Square Review among others. She is a 2015-16 Fellow of the Fine Arts Works Center in Provincetown, Massachusetts.
