Lana Spendl is a Pushcart-nominated writer who holds and M.F.A. in creative writing and an M.A. in Hispanic literatures from Indiana University. Her work has recently appeared in The Cortland Review, Greensboro Review, Monkeybicycle, Atticus Review, Prick of the Spindle, and 3Elements Review’s “Stories from Art” series. While at Indiana University, she was the recipient of the Lois Davidson Ellis Fellowship in Fiction, the Darrell Burton Fellowship in Creative Writing, and the Writer in the World Grant to travel to Kathmandu. At Indiana University, she also served as the nonfiction editor to Indiana Review and was nominated as the first in her class for the AWP Intro Awards.
