Marcus Wicker hails from Ann Arbor, Michigan and holds a B.A. from
Western Michigan University where he studied Public Law and English
with a writing emphasis. Honors include Yusef Komunyakaa and Ross
Lockridge fellowships from Indiana University, a Cave Canem fellowship,
as well as a Best Student Award from the 2008 Missouri Review Audio
Competition. Marcus’ poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in jubilat,
Crab Orchard Review, Hayden's Ferry Review, Rattle, Ninth Letter,
DIAGRAM, The Los Angeles Review, and Anti, among other journals. He
currently serves as Poetry Editor of the Indiana Review
