Gallon-size plastic jars such
as the ones shown are excellent containers for PVA, mixture, and methyl
cellulose. Plastic lids are preferred over metal ones, as condensation on
the inner surface of the lid can be considerable, and even with the
shield of plastic sheeting we always use (seen in image), metal lids
eventually tend to rust.
