This Web site was developed by The Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender, and Reproduction to provide researchers, professionals and the general public with information about the Institute and other resources for the study of human sexuality. The Institute's Web pages are housed on the Indiana University Bloomington (IUB) Web server.
The original Kinsey Institute Website launched in August, 1996, designed by Margaret Harter and Candace Bertotti. The current website was designed 2001, with web design team headed by Jennifer Bass, and included staff from all areas of the Institute. Cathy Spiaggia conducted the intial usability study, Kyle Haskins designed the templates and the graphics, Sarah Byun modified the pages, and Bryan Haggerty put it all together.
Significant additions and improvements over the years have been contributed by Steven Shyu, Rob Dietz, and Marie Metelnick. Steven Shyu designed the Juried Art Show pages. In 2008, Paul Smedberg of BCS advertising redesigned the homepage.
